Effective and Active Sponsorship Is the Top Driver of Project Success
Surveys have shown that effective and active sponsorship is essential to project success, but in practice, not enough attention is paid to the importance of sponsorship. The practice of sponsorship faces many challenges such as unsupportive organizational culture, lack of training, unclear role positioning and misunderstanding about sponsor duties. The aim of this column is to arouse attention to the importance of sponsorship and discuss some specific issues about sponsorship.
